The largest Pitch Competition in the area is looking for courageous founders who will face up to our tough jury and the demanding audience. This year only selected start-ups will compete against national and international competitors for the cup.

One pitch – a lot of potential.
The Pitch Competition is characterized by a merciless selection process and a top-class audience. Apply for one of the 33 coveted places and benefit from the extensive RuhrSummit network. Pitch your business idea not only to the jury, but also to representatives of established companies, VCs, business angels and potential multipliers. By participating you get a platform to attract attention regional as well as national and meet the right business partners for your project.

That’s how it works.
After a successful application, you can prepare a 5 min pitch (+5 min Q&A) in German or English for the first qualification phase. The six best pitches get the opportunity to compete with our international startups in the semi-finals (this time in English!).

Again, the six best -national and international- startups will meet for the grand finale. We are looking forward to it!
